How to, Google Searches

Use double quotes: you can specify the Google engine to search for an expression composed of two or more words literally, writing the search terms in quotes. “Used cars” How to, Google Searcheswill search all sites containing the phrase “used cars” literally. AND: By default Google launches search results in linking the words entered by the user using this operator. So the end result of a search without specifying anything or using the AND operator will be the results that contain both the word list specified.

The searches “cars AND occasion” or “second-hand cars” will achieve the same results, a list of websites that contain the word car and the word opportunity. OR symbol “|”: If you want to specify that it is not necessary the appearance of the two words in each search result, but for each of them separately, you must specify the OR operator between the terms to be met. “OR hand cars” as a result will now get a list of websites containing the word car or occasion.

The operator – allows you to exclude search results. Must be specified before the end to avoid people who seek the results that do not contain the specified word. “Car time” looks for sites that contain the word car but not time. You can assign different areas delimited with parentheses operators: “(car OR motorcycle) AND occasion” will search all web sites containing the word car or bike.

Special commands: “site: words to search”, search only in this site. “site: ineedcontent.com SEO,” searches for all pages containing the word “SEO” in the web ineedcontent.com

You can consult a website that does not work even when clicking on the “cache” that appears next to each of the search results. If you put “define:” followed by a word (e.g. define: Human Body) for definitions and encyclopedic texts on the subject.

Using “cache:” before a URL, we display the contents of Google’s cache (this is useful at a time when for some reason an address is not reachable temporarily). If you type “filetype:” followed by the extension of a file search for pages that contain the extension of that file. For example: university filetype: doc
